Veronica Jorden – The Book Baker
Hi, writer friend, I’m so glad you’re here. If you’ve found me, that means you have a story you’ve just got to tell. And there are few things I love more than a chance to help other writers make their story as good as it possibly can be.
Like most writers, I have had a life-long love of reading. Growing up a military brat, there were few constants in my childhood. But no matter where we lived, I was never without a collection of books. And I didn’t just read those books, I got lost in them. I could see every character. I experienced the conflict. And I could see every scene play out in my mind as if it was a movie playing out in full Technicolor brilliance. This complete and total adoration of storytelling led me to embrace the craft of writing. And somewhere along the way, I discovered a talent and a passion for helping other writers craft their own stories.
My freelance editing work began in 2013 and since then, I’ve worked with dozens of professional authors across multiple genres. My clients include both traditionally and independently published authors and writers of varying skill levels
I completed a Bachelor of Arts in English in Creative Writing in 2016 and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing in the summer of 2020.

The developmental report contained useful feedback, especially on the weak points of my story. It gave easy to follow examples and suggestions on how to fix the issues. Veronica’s developmental analysis was what I needed to enable me to do a final rewrite. I will keep her in mind given future projects.
